In Norse mythology, Nott was the goddess of the night, daughter of Narvi. She had three husbands and three children. First was Naglfari, with whom she gave birth to Aud; followed by Annar, the father of Earth and lastly Delling, father of Dagur. Like Dagur, Nott rode across the sky daily, in a chariot pulled by Hrimfaxi. She brings dew with her every morning.

Nott is a fictional charactor in the Harry Potter series.
