The municipality comprises the towns of Blanden, Haasrode, Oud-Heverlee proper, Sint-Joris-Weert and Vaalbeek. On January 1st, 2000 Oud-Heverlee had a total population of 10,522 (5,252 males and 5,270 females). The total area is 30.60 km² which gives a population density of 343.86 inhabitants per km².
