Paul Lynde (June 13, 1926 Mount Vernon, Ohio - January 10, 1982 Beverly Hills, California) was an American actor. He was one of the stars of the Hollywood Squares, provided the voice of Templeton the Rat in the film Charlotte's Web, played Uncle Arthur in Bewitched and was the befuddled father in Bye Bye Birdie.
