Pepin is a town located in Pepin County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 580.

United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 136.1 km² (52.6 mi²). 117.7 km² (45.4 mi²) of it is land and 18.4 km² (7.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 13.55% water.

census of 2000, there are 580 people, 232 households, and 168 families residing in the town. The population density is 4.9/km² (12.8/mi²). There are 273 housing units at an average density of 2.3 persons/km² (6.0 persons/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 99.14% White, 0.34% African American, 0.34% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.17% from two or more races. 0.69% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 232 households out of which 30.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.4% are married couples living together, 5.2% have a woman whose husband does not live with her, and 27.2% are non-families. 23.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.50 and the average family size is 2.97.
