Peter Dunne is the leader of the New Zealand United Future political party.

He became a MP in 1984, winning the Ohariu (later Ohariu-Belmont) electorate in suburban Wellington which he has held ever since. He is considered a somewhat controversial, agressive politician, known for his support of the tobacco industry and the Transmission Gully road project, as much as for his family values and supposed common sense.
