Prelude in G major is a generic title for any piece of music which is a prelude and in the key of G major. Composers who have written such pieces include:
- Johann Sebastian Bach in his Well-Tempered Clavier, Cello Suits No. 1 and other works
- Frederic Chopin who wrote preludes in all 24 keys; see 24 Preludes (Chopin)
- Sergei Rachmaninov, who did likewise
