Definition

If we feel nothing and have no bad results from medical checks, then we are healthy. On the other hand, if we feel sick and have bad results from medical checks, then we have diseases. With a presympton, we feel nothing but have some small symptoms from medical check.

Prevention

The Pre-symptom is a situation between health and disease. So far, there have been only two clear cut concepts, that were health and disease. But we can find something in between, and in that stage we can control or prevent disease. In a coming aged society we have to build up schemes which can control diseases efficiently and effectively. Once we get diseases, we only produce minus. However, in a pre-disease stage, we have indeed to pay for medical expenses, but we can still produce plus. One of the best ideas for economic medicine is how we can continue a pre-symptom (or disease) stage and prevent diseases.

The Range of Pre-symptom

At present, for example, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, obesity, hyperuricemia, arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis, hepatitis, HIV positive, asymptomatic stroke, potential heart attack, fatty liver, etc, but there will be more in the future. Controlling and preventing these diseases, while spending some medical expenses in early stages will turn out to keep our productivity.
