Prince Albert National Park is located 200 kilometres (120 miles) north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The park is open all year but the most visited period is from May to September.

Waskesiu is the only town within the park, located on the shores of Waskesiu Lake. You can find most facilities one would expect in such a park such as souvenir shops, restaurants, hotels and motels, rental cabins, camping areas, a beach, tennis courts and golf courses. The town does not have a bank but most merchants will accept bank cards.

The park also contains the cabin of naturalist and conservationist Grey Owl, on Ajawaan Lake.

Wildlife

The park is home to many forms of wildlife including elk, black bear, fox, moose, beaver, deer, badger and timber wolf. Over 195 species of birds have been spotted in the park.
