Raes Junction in New Zealand is the intersection of State Highway 8 (SH 8) and State Highway 90, in the lower South Island.

At Raes Junction one can go south-west via SH 90 to Tapanui and Gore, north to Alexandra, or south-east to Milton. People driving up from Gore or Tapanui will have to give way to cars on SH 8, although there is usually not much traffic.

2002 estimates by Transit New Zealand indicate about 600 vehicles per day pass by Raes Junction on State Highway 90, and about 1500 drive along SH 8 near Raes Junction. (This counts cars going either direction.)
