Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index RAF Halton (known on most maps as Halton Camp) is one of the larger Royal Air Force (RAF) bases in the United Kingdom, located near the village of Halton, Buckinghamshire. It is now primarily a training school, although it once included a large military hospital, which is currently "iced". A major feature of the camp is the Officer's Mess which is housed in Halton Hall - a French style mansion built by the Rothschild family.
