Railion is a European (mainly German) railroad cargo carrier. It transports a wide range of products, such as steel, coal, ore, paper, timber, cars, washing machines, computers and many (petro)chemical products.

Railion is the result of merging DB Cargo AG and NS Cargo NV. In the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg it operates under the name Railion Benelux, while in Germany it continues to operate as DB Cargo for the time being. The holding company, Railion GmbH, is based in Mainz. 94% of the shares are held by DB AG, and the remaining 6% by NV Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch Railways).
