Ray Ewry (14 October, 1873 - 29 September, 1937) was a Track & Field athelete, born in Lafayette, Indiana.

Ewry is featured on a stamp, having won 10 gold medals, but 2 won in the "Inter" Olympic games 1906 (that was the 10th aniversary of the first Olympics in Athens), and 8 gold from Olympic events.
