Rendsburg-Eckernförde is a Kreis (district) in the northeastern part of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated at the coast of the Baltic Sea, roughly between the cities of Schleswig and Kiel. Area 2200 km², population 271,000 (2002). The district's capital is Rendsburg.

The district was established in 1970 by merging the former districts of Rendsburg and Eckernförde. A large portion of the Kiel Canal passes through Rendsburg-Eckernförde.
