Rosita Dolores Alverio (born December 11, 1931), better known as Rita Moreno, is a Puerto Rican actress who has achieved fame both in Hollywood and Broadway. She is a native of Humacao.

Moreno became a celebrity in The West Side Story, a 1960 movie that garnered her an Oscar award.

The Guiness Book of World Records lists Moreno as the first person in history to win an Oscar, a Tony, and Emmy and a Grammy.
