Saint Mary's University of San Antonio, Texas is a Catholic university in the Marianist tradition. It was founded in 1852 and is the oldest university in San Antonio.

In April of 2000, Dr. Charles Cotrell was chosen as the first president of the university to not be a member of the clergy.
