Sarah Montgomery Marple-Cantrell (December 28, 1990 - April 16, 2003) was an American sixth-grade schoolgirl who died after shooting herself at the age of twelve. She was born to Cyrus Cantrell (a professor of electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas) and Lynn Marple.

She attended St. Alcuin Montessori School in Dallas, Texas from "Toddler class" (beginning at eighteen months) up to second grade, and subsequently attended Greenhill School in Addison, Texas. It was in a school bathroom that she shot herself. Although school officials did not release her name, she was identified by the Dallas County medical examiner's office.

Sarah was known for her artistic and literary interests, her studies of pioneer and Native American cultures, and her love of nature.

Her burial is located at Restland Memorial Park (at Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, USA).
