Sherman is a town located in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,520.

There are 544 housing units at an average density of 6.1/km² (15.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.36% White, 0.26% African American, 0.13% Native American, 0.07% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.79% from other races, and 0.39% from two or more races. 1.45% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 533 households out of which 37.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.7% are married couples living together, 4.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 19.5% are non-families. 16.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.85 and the average family size is 3.20.
