Simviation.com claims to be the internet's top site for downloading related to the hobby of simulated aviation. However, this claim is also made by many other sites. While Simviation.com does not give an exact number on how many files the site has, according to the site, more than 1,000 files can be found there. Files include jet-liners, prop liners, business aircraft, helicopters, buildings, mountain lodges, lakes and utilities such as fire trucks, gas trucks, baggage trucks and others.
Camil Valiquette is one of the site's main designers. Valiquette also works at rival Avsim.com.
Aside from Avsim.com, Flightsim.com is another one of many sites that compete with Simviation.com for the internet user's popularity.
