Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Sister Parish was an American interior decorator, born Dorothy May Kinnicutt, 1910-1994. She decorated the Kennedy White House. Parish was the design partner of Albert Hadley with whom she co-founded Parish-Hadley, Associates (1962-1999). As the only daughter in a five child family she acquired the byname "sister". Married in 1930 to Henry Parish II, an investment banker, she opened her first firm in 1933. Her style is known for its "three C's": chintz, color, and cushions. This article is from Wikipedia.
