It provides Slovakia's head of government, Mikuláš Dzurinda, and leads a coalition government including Party Direction - Third Way, the Christian Democratic Movement, and the New Civic Alliance. It has 28 of 150 seats in the National Council, making it the second largest party, after the Movement for a Democratic Slovakia.
