Social Distortion is Social Distortion's eponymous fourth album. It was released on March 27, 1990.

A video was made to accompany "Ball And Chain" "Story Of My Life" (on MTV and VH1), the opening track. Those two songs has been a popular choice for club DJs playing Social Distortion, because of its popularity, familiarity and suitability, given the length and style of most of Social Distortion's other songs.

Social Distortion peaked at #128 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart.
