Spruce Hill Township is a township located in Juniata County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 724.

census of 2000, there are 724 people, 271 households, and 199 families residing in the township. The population density is 12.9/km² (33.4/mi²). There are 335 housing units at an average density of 6.0/km² (15.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 96.41% White, 1.93% African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.55% from other races, and 0.83% from two or more races. 1.80% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 271 households out of which 36.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.7% are married couples living together, 5.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.2% are non-families. 20.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.61 and the average family size is 3.06. In the township the population is spread out with 25.3% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 28.0% from 25 to 44, 26.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 38 years. For every 100 females there are 108.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 108.1 males. The median income for a household in the township is $35,962, and the median income for a family is $40,547. Males have a median income of $33,929 versus $20,278 for females.
