Storsien is a small village outside Kalix in northern Sweden. It is mainly known for the concentration camp located there where about 300-370 communists and pacifists were being held during the winter 1939-1940.

The village was founded in 1798 and it reach it's maximum size at the end of the 1940s with about 80 inhabitants. Today it consists of 13 farms with a total of about 25 people. Mail service (delivery once a week) was started in early 1900, phone came 1927. Electricity in 1941.
