Success Township is a township located in Coos County, New Hampshire. In New Hampshire, locations, grants, townships (which are different from towns), and purchases are unincorporated portions of a county which are not part on any town and have limited self-government (if any, as many are uninhabited). Villages are census divisions of towns or cities, but have no separate corporate existence from the municipality they are located in.

As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 2. According to the United States Census Bureau it is one of only 5 places in the United States with a population of two people. The others are Twombly, Maine, Hove Mobile Park, North Dakota, Oil Springs Reservation, Cattaraugus County, New York, and Monowi, Nebraska.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 153.4 km² (59.2 mi²). 152.2 km² (58.8 mi²) of it is land and 1.2 km² (0.5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.81% water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there is one married couple living in the township. Both are white and between 45 and 64, their median age is 50 years. Because there are a number of summer cabins (called "camps" in New England), there are 71 housing units at an average density of 0.5/km² (1.2/mi²).
