Sugar Bush Township is a township located in Beltrami County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 193.

Geography

United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 90.9 km² (35.1 mi²). 76.6 km² (29.6 mi²) of it is land and 14.3 km² (5.5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 15.73% water.

census of 2000, there are 193 people, 70 households, and 49 families residing in the township. The population density is 2.5/km² (6.5/mi²). There are 114 housing units at an average density of 1.5/km² (3.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 70.98% White, 0.00% African American, 26.42% Native American, 1.55% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.04% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 70 households out of which 25.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.7% are married couples living together, 11.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% are non-families. 20.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 7.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.76 and the average family size is 3.00.
