Supercapitalism is a theoretical economic system advocated by certain intellectual economic scholars. It is essentially a perfect form of capitalism, one that has not been corrupted by the practices of actual society and governments.

The term is used by certain intellectuals who believe much of the western world's current economic structure is not in fact "true" capitalism, but rather some corrupted version thereof. "Supercapitalism" is thus the ideal system.

This "supercapitalist" point of view is thus the mirror image of intellectual supporters of communism who advocate that the failure of their ideology in practice was also due to failure to practice it in its "true" form, but rather in a form that has been corrupted by the practices of actual society and governments.
