A cult radio show on BBC Radio 4 set in Fossil's Funworld, "a very strange zoo indeed".

Howard Moon and Vince Noir (Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding) are slightly hapless zookeepers working under the ever-watchful eye of bad-tempered zoo boss Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher).The show was produced by Danny Wallace.

In 2001 this six-part series won the Douglas Adams Award for innovative comedy writing. The Boosh currently have a TV series in development with Baby Cow Productions for the BBC.

Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding original won the Perrier Award as The Boosh for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival 1998.

During their residency at the Hen and Chickens theater the following year they built up a cult following. In 1999 they took their new show Arctic Boosh to the Edinburgh Festival, sold out every night and won a nomination for the Perrier Award.

In 2000 they performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and won the Festival's Barry Humphries Award. The same year Julian and Noel starred in the acclaimed short film Sweet which won a Bafta nomination.
