The Hitch-Hiker is a 1953 film noir film which tells the story of two hunting buddies who pick up a mysterious hitch hiker. It stars Edmond O'Brien, Frank Lovejoy and William Talman.

The movie was written by Lucille Fletcher, Robert L. Joseph, Ida Lupino, Daniel Mainwaring (uncredited) and Collier Young. It was directed by Lupino.

The film has been selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.
