It featured the adventures of Ariel and her friends Flounder, Sebastian, Scuttle, and other characters from the movie The Little Mermaid along with characters that are original to the series. This series originally appeared on CBS and it was on from 1992 to 1995. Characters from the Movie Ariel - Princess of Atlantica. King Triton - Ariel's father. Flounder - a fish who is Ariel's best friend. Sebastian - a crab who is a friend of the royal family. Scuttle - a seagull who is friends with Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian. Aquata, Arista, Andrina, Attina, Adella, and Alana - Ariel's sisters. Ursula - a sea witch. Prince Eric - a human prince. Grimbsy - Eric's right hand man/servant. Carlotta - Eric's maid. Original Characters Urchin - Ariel's adopted brother. The Lobster Mobster - a Lobster Mobster The Shrimp - The Lobster Mobster's Sidekick. The Evil Manta - a villian who tries to take over Atlantica. Pearl - a wealthy mermaid who sometimes tries to get Ariel into trouble.
