The music is by Meredith Willson and the book by Richard Morris. The play was made into a movie in 1964. It stars Debbie Reynolds, Harve Presnell, Ed Begley, Jack Kruschen, Hermione Baddeley and Harvey Lembeck. The movie was adapted by Helen Deutsch and directed by Charles Walters.
