Thierry Henry (b. August 17, 1977) is a French footballer born in Les Ulis, France. He currently plays for Arsenal F.C in the English FA Premier league and the national team of France.

He transferred from Juventus in August 1999 to Arsenal FC for £10.5 million. He made his national team debut in October 1997 against South Africa.

Many people consider Thierry Henry to be the most exciting player to watch in world soccer. Although played as a striker, his versatility at all aspects of the game makes him more influental than a traditional striker. He creates as many goals as he scores. His blistering pace leaves even the best defenders in his wake.
