Tilburg is a city in the Netherlands, located in the southern province of Noord-Brabant. The city council (gemeente) administers an area of 11889 hectares (11742 land) with a population of 200,000.

The municipality also comprises the following towns, villages and townships: Berkel-Enschot, Udenhout.

The Universiteit van Tilburg (formerly Katholieke Universiteit Brabant) is located in Tilburg.

There is a yearly funfair during one week in July, the largest of the country (site in Dutch). The Monday is called "Pink Monday", and is gay oriented, but equally enjoyed by heterosexuals.

There are three train stations: Tilburg, Tilburg West, and Tilburg Reeshof.
