TV3 is owned jointly by Granada Television, the leading UK TV company, and by CanWest, the owners of Canada's Global TV network. In the main, TV3 produce little Irish made programming. Apart from their news bulletins, and recently, the Eamon Dunphy chat show, most of TV3's schedules are taken up with live relays of Granada Television programmes and made for TV movies.
