Two ships of the United States Navy have borne the name Boise, after Boise, capital city of Idaho.
- The first Boise (CL-47) was a light cruiser commissioned in 1938 that saw service in World War II, and was later sold to Argentina.
- The second Boise (SSN-764) is a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine, see below for details.
Boise (SSN-764) was laid down 25 August 1988 at the Newport News Shipbuilding Company in Newport New, Virginia; launched 23 March 1991; and commissioned 7 November, 1992, Commander D. Mericle commanding.
In 2002 Boise was assigned to the USS John F. Kennedy carrier battle group when the group took part in Operation Enduring Freedom.
