The name comes from the US organisation WAR but the point of the acronym is lost in the translation. VAM was a network of nazi groups in Sweden. They performed a few bank robberies and car thefts. The leading persons were Klas Lund and Christopher Rangne. Nationalsocialistisk Front (NSF) based in Karlskrona was formed in 1994 by a couple of youths inspired by VAM.
