Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Whilst the Great Western Railway was constructed through Ealing in 1836-8, West Ealing railway station was not opened until 1871, when it was called "Castle Hill and Ealing Dene". The station is now served (no service on Sundays) by Thames Trains on the routes between Paddington station and Langley and between London Paddington station and Greenford.
