Witold Lutosławski (born Jan 25, 1913 in Warsaw, Poland; died Feb 9, 1994 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish composer.

Despite developing his technique under Nazi and then Stalinist censorship and repression, Lutosławski is Poland's most famous composer and has made use of twelve tone and aleatoric techniques.
