Woman of the Year is a 1942 romantic comedy film in which a feminist, chosen "Woman of the Year", tries to keep the spark in her personal relationship. It stars Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, Fay Bainter, Reginald Owen, Minor Watson and William Bendix.

It was written by Ring Lardner Jr and Michael Kanin and directed by George Stevens.

It won an Academy Award for Best Writing, Original Screenplay and was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role. In 1999 the film was deemed "culturally significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.
