Aalsmeer (population: 22,794) is a town in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 33.95 km² (of which 10.87 km² water). Because the largest flower auction in the world is based in Aalsmeer, the town is sometimes referred to as the flower capital of the world.

The municipality of Aalsmeer also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Kudelstaart.
