The Arales, or aroids, are an order of monocot flowers. Only two families are included:

Sometimes the Lemnaceae are included among the Araceae. A third family, the Acoraceae, was included under the older Cronquist system but does not appear closely related to the others. The Arales are the sister group of the Alismatales, and are sometimes included among them.

This order includes the largest inflorescence, the titan arum, and the smallest flowering plant and smallest fruit, found in the duckweed, Wolffia.\n
