Fornebu is an area in the municipality of Bærum, Norway.

Fornebu is located close to Oslo. Fornebu Airport served as the main airport for Oslo until the evening of October 7 1998, when it was closed down. The following morning, the new airport at Gardermoen opened.

The area is being developed as a centre for information technology and telecom industry. The new headquarter for Telenor is located in the area.
