ISO 10962 is the CFI code (Classification of Financial Instruments). It is a alphabetical code with 6 characters. The first character is the category, the second the group. The trailing 4 characters are special attributes of the group. The character'X' always means "Not applicable/undefined". Here's a (incomplete) list of possible codes:
