Murphy's Romance is a 1985 comedy romance film which tells the story of a divorced mother who moves to a small town, takes up a relationship with the town's druggist, yet allows her ex-husband to move in with her at her home. It stars Sally Field, James Garner, Brian Kerwin and Corey Haim.

The movie was adapted by Harriet Frank Jr and Irving Ravetch from a story by Max Schott. It was directed by Martin Ritt.

Murphy's Romance received Academy Award nominations for Best Actor in a Leading Role, (James Garner), in addition toBest Cinematography.
