He was the designer (with others) of the Tucker automobile. Produced by George Lucas and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, a motion picture was made about him in 1988 titled: "Tucker: The Man and His Dream," recounting his attempt to put the Tucker automobile into mass production starring Jeff Bridges.
