It is located approx. 300km east of Beijing, on the Bohai Gulf, the innermost gulf of the Yellow Sea. Qinhuangdao has three main built-up areas: Bei Dai He: a seaside resort Hai Gang District: a harbor city Shan Hai Guan: a popular tourist destination, featuring the eastern end of the Great Wall.
