Queensland University of Technology (or QUT) is a university with its central campus located in the heart of Brisbane, Australia. In addition to being a large teaching university, QUT has many research programs. Its slogan is "A university for the real world."
In 2001, QUT was the world's first university to introduce a Creative Industries Faculty.
QUT has three main campuses:
- Gardens Point - located in the CBD and nestled between the botanic gardens and the Brisbane River
- Kelvin Grove
- Carseldine
