Tain is a burgh in the Scottish Highlands, on the main rail and A9 road routes to the north coast. Notable buildings in the town include Tain Tolbooth and St Duthus Collegiate Church, named for Saint Duthus, who was born in the burgh. The town also boasts a museum and a distillery.
