Main Page | See live article | Alphabetical index Two United States Navy destroyers have been named USS Shaw, after John Shaw, a notable officer in the early days of the Navy. The first Shaw (DD-68) served in World War I, losing her bow in an accidental collision with another ship, but later repaired.
